Olean, NY Charter Bus RentalCoaches, mini buses and Sprinter vans for groups leaving the Allegheny River valley, and for groups coming to it.
Tell us where your Olean group needs to be and when. We match the vehicle to your headcount, plan the route over I-86, Route 16 and Route 417, and send back one clear price that already includes the driver and fuel.
Serving the City of Olean, Allegany, St. Bonaventure, Portville, Hinsdale, Cuba, Salamanca and the rest of Cattaraugus County, plus the Pennsylvania towns just over the line.
Olean at a glance, from a trip planner's seat
- Population
- 13,937 people in the city at the 2020 Census, which makes Olean the largest city in Cattaraugus County. The county seat is Little Valley, so county business trips often run north.
- Main streets
- Union Street carries Route 16 north and south. State Street carries Route 417 east and west, out past the St. Bonaventure campus to the village of Allegany.
- Interstate access
- I-86, the Southern Tier Expressway, with exits 24, 25 and 26 serving Allegany, Olean and St. Bonaventure.
- Nearest big airport
- Buffalo Niagara International, roughly 80 miles north, usually about an hour and forty minutes by coach.
- State line
- Pennsylvania starts a short drive south, so many Olean charters are technically interstate trips even when they are local in spirit.
- Season to respect
- Winter. Snow on the hills between Olean and Buffalo shapes schedules from December into March.
Why an Olean charter needs its own plan
Olean is a small city with a big job. It is the shopping, hospital, college and business center for a wide stretch of the Southern Tier, and the nearest large metro areas are a long way off: Buffalo to the north, Erie and Cleveland to the west, Pittsburgh to the south. That geography decides almost everything about how a group trip from here should be built.
The first thing it decides is direction. In Lockport or Buffalo, a lot of charters are short city hops. Here, most trips head out: a youth hockey team to a tournament in Buffalo, a senior club to a show in Erie, a parish group to Pittsburgh, a band to New York City. Those are day trips measured in hours on the road, which means the driver's legal duty day, rest stops and meal timing matter as much as the vehicle itself.
The second thing it decides is terrain. The Enchanted Mountains around Olean are not tall, but they are steady. Route 16 north through Hinsdale and Route 219 through Ellicottville both climb and fall, and both can carry snow when the city streets are merely wet.
Olean trips are mostly outbound, often long, and always one bad forecast away from a schedule change. We plan for all three.
The third thing is the college next door. St. Bonaventure University sits on Route 417 between Olean and Allegany, and its calendar of move in, athletics, family weekends and commencement fills hotel rooms and roads at predictable times. If your wedding or reunion lands on one of those weekends, we tell you early.
The city's name comes from oleum, the Latin word for oil, a nod to the oil spring early settlers found in the area. Olean grew as an oil and rail town, and it still makes things: Cutco knives are made here. That industrial side brings plant tours, employee shuttles and visiting corporate teams into the mix, alongside the schools, churches and families who make up most of our Olean bookings.
None of this is complicated once it is on paper. The rest of this page puts it on paper.
Seven vehicles, and where each one earns its keep in Olean
Seat counts vary a little by operator and model, so treat these as typical ranges. The bar shows relative size. Your quote lists the exact vehicle and seat count before you pay anything.
Best for Bills games, band and choir trips, athletic travel and anything over two hours.
Under floor bays swallow instruments, hockey bags and suitcases. Most coaches carry a restroom, which matters on the long pull to New York City or Pittsburgh. If your group is 40 or more, this is almost always the cheapest seat per person.
Best for board retreats in Ellicottville, client visits and plant tours.
Tables, extra legroom and a quieter cabin let people work on the road. Visiting teams touring manufacturing sites around Olean often choose this so the ride between meetings becomes meeting time.
Best for wedding shuttles, church groups, senior outings and casino day trips to Salamanca.
Easier to park at small venues, tight church lots and farm wedding sites in the hills. Light luggage room, so it suits day trips more than airport runs for a full load.
Best for loops: commencement parking, hotel to venue runs, employee shifts.
Wide doors and standing room make quick on and off stops painless. Good for event days when the same crowd needs moving back and forth between a parking lot and a stadium or a reception hall.
Best for Buffalo airport runs, small executive groups and brewery or winery outings.
Quick, comfortable and cheaper to position to Olean than a full coach. A dozen travelers with carry on bags fit well; a dozen with checked suitcases and golf clubs may need a second van or a mini bus.
Best for short field trips to Rock City Park, Allegany State Park or the Cutco visitors center.
The budget choice for runs under an hour. No restroom and no luggage bays, so we steer longer school trips toward a coach instead.
Best for proms, bachelorette weekends in Ellicottville and milestone birthdays.
Perimeter seating, lighting and sound. Age and alcohol rules apply and are covered in our guide to alcohol on charter buses.
Need a wheelchair lift? Ask for it when you request the quote so we can source a lift equipped coach before the date fills. Our ADA accessible charter guide explains what to expect, and the charter bus vs mini bus comparison helps if you are stuck between two sizes.
Seat math: size your Olean trip in ten seconds
Most sizing mistakes come from luggage, not people. Forty skiers with boots and boards fill a coach differently than forty churchgoers with a lunch bag each. This little calculator uses the same rule of thumb our planners use: when bags get big, we leave seats empty so the bays and aisles stay clear.
It gives a starting point, not a final answer. Chaperone ratios, wheelchair users, equipment and how long people will sit all shift the math. For groups over 100, read when to rent more than one bus, and for the detailed version see what size charter bus do I need.
Enter your headcount and luggage, then press the button.
Groups we move in and around Olean
Every group has its own pressure point. For schools it is paperwork and bell times. For weddings it is the last shuttle of the night. For companies it is a meeting that cannot start late. Here is how we handle the ones we see most in Cattaraugus County, with a link to the full service page for each.
Schools and field trips
Olean, Allegany-Limestone, Portville, Hinsdale and parochial schools run trips to Rock City Park, Allegany State Park, the Buffalo Museum of Science and further afield. We work to your dismissal time and send the driver and vehicle details ahead for your permission slips.
Colleges and universities
St. Bonaventure clubs, residence halls and admissions events, plus Jamestown Community College's Olean campus and Pitt-Bradford across the state line. Campus travel has its own section below.
Sports teams
High school sectionals, travel hockey, AAU basketball and adult leagues. Coaches with deep bays keep gear out of the aisle, and we plan return trips around the game ending late, not on time.
Church and faith groups
Youth retreats, pilgrimages to shrines in Buffalo and beyond, mission trips and choir tours. Many parishes pair a Sunday service with a Sunday departure; we build the timing around both.
Weddings
Hotel shuttles from Route 417 to barns, lodges and country clubs in the hills around Olean, where parking is scarce and cell service is spotty. We map the venue access road before the day.
Corporate and industrial
Plant tours, supplier visits, training days and team outings for Olean's manufacturers, the hospital system and regional employers. Executive coaches and shuttles are both on the table.
Employee shuttles
Shift change shuttles, temporary parking relief and seasonal staffing runs from surrounding towns. We can pilot a route for a few weeks before you commit to a longer contract.
Tour groups and seniors
Senior centers, clubs and travel groups heading to Chautauqua, the Corning Museum of Glass, Niagara Falls or the casino in Salamanca. We ask about mobility needs up front and plan shorter legs between stops.
Private events and reunions
Family reunions at Allegany State Park, milestone birthdays, class reunions and graduation parties. One vehicle collecting relatives from several Olean addresses beats a parking lot full of cars.
Also available: government and military travel, concert and festival transportation, hotel shuttles and convention shuttles. See every option on our group transportation hub.
St. Bonaventure and campus travel from Olean
The St. Bonaventure University campus sits on Route 417 between downtown Olean and the village of Allegany, about two miles from I-86 exits 24 and 25. The Bonnies play Atlantic 10 basketball in the Reilly Center, and when the school sends a team off on a big road trip, the route famously runs past the Olean City Building on the way to exit 26.
For a charter company, the campus creates three kinds of work. Outbound trips carry students and staff to conferences, away games, service trips and internships. Inbound trips bring alumni, recruits and visiting teams to Olean. Shuttle work moves families between Route 417 hotels and campus on busy weekends. Each needs a different plan, and the playbook below is the one we use.
Similar thinking applies to college visit tours run by local high schools and to teams covered in our college sports travel guide.
Before the trip
- Check the university calendar for move in, family weekend and commencement, because hotel blocks along Route 417 disappear fast.
- Ask campus safety where a coach may stage. Team departures have used the lot between the Reilly Center and the Richter Center.
- Collect a roster with phone numbers for the trip lead and a backup.
Departure day
- Driver arrives 15 to 30 minutes early for bag loading and a head count.
- For away games, confirm arena bus parking and the post game pickup door in advance.
- Pack for delays on I-86 and Route 219 in winter; keep snacks and water on board.
The return
- Build in time for the game or event to run long, and tell us the latest realistic departure.
- If the return lands after midnight, plan drop points that students can walk from safely.
- Leave a short note on anything to change next time; we keep it on file for the next booking.
The Olean travel year, and when to book
Charter demand in the Southern Tier follows the seasons more closely than it does in big cities. These are the patterns we see, with the lead time we suggest for each stretch of the calendar. For the national view, see our season by season booking guide.
December to March
Winter
Ski clubs, basketball and holiday outings.
School and adult ski clubs run to Holiday Valley and HoliMont near Ellicottville, about 30 miles away. Bonnies basketball and Sabres games add evening trips.
Book four to six weeks ahead, and read our winter charter guide.
April to June
Spring
Field trips, proms, graduations.
The busiest school stretch. St. Bonaventure commencement in May and high school graduations in June overlap with class trips, so vehicles and drivers get scarce.
Book eight to twelve weeks ahead. Proms and graduation parties go first.
July and August
Summer
Reunions, camps, weddings, lake days.
Family reunions at Allegany State Park, summer camp transfers, Chautauqua Institution day trips and the peak of wedding season.
Book six to ten weeks ahead. Saturdays fill before weekdays.
September to November
Fall
Foliage, football and festivals.
Bills home games, college move in, foliage tours through the Enchanted Mountains and the Ellicottville Fall Festival weekend all compete for the same buses.
Book eight to ten weeks ahead. See our fall foliage trip guide.
Two dates catch Olean organizers off guard every year. The first is the stretch between Thanksgiving and New Year, when office parties, church choir outings and shopping trips to the Walden Galleria near Buffalo all want an evening coach. The second is the first warm Saturday in May, when proms, graduation parties and the first field trips land at once. If your date sits in either window, send the request as soon as you know it, even before the headcount is final. Our holiday office party guide covers the December rush in more detail.
Where Olean groups go, sorted by drive time
Drive time decides more about your trip than distance does. It sets how many driver hours you use, whether one driver can legally handle a same day return, and whether a restroom on board is a nice extra or a necessity.
The rings on the right group popular destinations by typical coach drive time from downtown Olean, in normal conditions. Winter weather, construction and event traffic can add a lot, so we build padding into every quote.
Anything in the outer ring usually means an overnight stay or a two driver plan. Our driver hours explainer shows why, and the same day return guide helps you decide which side of the line your trip falls on.
Miles and times are approximate planning figures, not guarantees.

Local stops, with notes from the driver's seat
Visitor guides tell you what a place is like. These notes add what a group organizer actually needs: where a bus can pull in, how long people really spend there, and what to tell riders before they step off.
Rock City Park
Rock City Park sits on Route 16 south of the city and protects huge blocks of quartz conglomerate along a trail of roughly half a mile, with stairs, narrow passages and overlooks. It is usually open from spring through October, and it is a classic school and scout trip.
Cutco and KA-BAR Visitors Center
The visitors center on East State Street tells the story of Cutco cutlery and KA-BAR knives, both made in Olean, with displays of antique and military knives. Check Cutco's own site for current hours before you plan a weekend visit.
Allegany State Park
At about 65,000 acres, Allegany State Park is the largest park in the New York State system. It splits into the Red House and Quaker areas, with lakes, beaches, cabins, group camps and the Thunder Rocks formation.
Downtown Olean and Lincoln Park
Union Street and State Street meet downtown, with Lincoln Park, restaurants and the City Building nearby. The paved Allegheny River Valley Trail loops along the river toward St. Bonaventure for walkers and cyclists.
Salamanca and the Seneca Nation
About 20 miles west on I-86, Salamanca sits within the Seneca Nation's Allegany Territory. Groups come for the Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino, the Seneca-Iroquois National Museum and the Salamanca Rail Museum. It is one of the easiest half day trips from Olean and a regular pick for senior clubs.
Airport transfers from Olean: which airport, which vehicle
Olean has a municipal airfield but no airline service, so group flights start somewhere else. For most groups that means Buffalo. For some, Erie, Rochester or Pittsburgh makes more sense once you factor in fares and flight times. A shared transfer turns a long drive and a pricey parking bill into one fixed cost.
See the full airport charter service page, or read how airport pickups work.
| Airport | From Olean | Why a group picks it | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buffalo Niagara (BUF) | About 80 mi, 1 hr 40 min | Most nonstops and the widest choice of airlines. The default for school tours, cruise groups and team travel. | Snow on Route 16 and Route 400 or on Route 219. Leave extra time from December to March. |
| Erie International (ERI) | About 110 mi, 2 hrs | A smaller, calmer terminal with connections through major hubs. Handy for groups living west of Olean. | Fewer daily flights, so a missed connection can mean a long wait. |
| Greater Rochester (ROC) | About 110 mi, 2 hrs | Sometimes cheaper fares and good East Coast connections. Works well for groups based east toward Cuba and Wellsville. | A longer run across rural roads before the expressway. |
| Pittsburgh International (PIT) | About 200 mi, 3 hrs 45 min | International connections and occasional fare savings for large groups. | Long enough that early flights may need an overnight or a two driver plan. |
Luggage first
Airport groups carry about one checked bag and one carry on each. Size the vehicle for the bags, then the people. Our luggage capacity guide has the numbers.
Flight tracking
Send us flight numbers for inbound groups. If a flight lands late, the driver adjusts. The flight delay guide covers what happens with waiting time.
Early departures
A 6 a.m. flight from Buffalo means a 3:30 a.m. pickup in Olean. Pick one central meeting point rather than a string of house stops at that hour.
Our winter weather protocol for Olean trips
Olean does not get Buffalo's famous lake effect totals most years, but the hills between here and the Thruway can. A coach can leave a clear, salted downtown Olean and meet steady snow twenty minutes north. That is normal here, and it is why winter trips get a written plan instead of a shrug.
The driver and dispatch have the final say on safety. Nobody pushes a coach into conditions that are not safe, and you will never be charged extra for a delay the weather causes on the road.
Live conditions come from 511NY. For the passenger side of winter travel, see how cold a charter bus gets and what happens if your trip runs late.
72 hours out
Dispatch checks the forecast for every leg, including the return. If a storm is likely, we call the organizer with options: an earlier departure, a different route, or a new date.
24 hours out
We confirm the route choice. North to Buffalo can go by Route 16 and Route 400 through East Aurora or by Route 219 through Ellicottville and Springville; one is often better than the other in a given storm.
Morning of
The driver walks around the coach, checks tires, wipers and fluids, and warms the cabin before pickup. You get a text if the arrival time shifts at all.
On the road
Speeds drop, following distances grow and rest stops move indoors. If a road closes, the driver and dispatch reroute or hold at a safe place.
If we must postpone
A cancellation for unsafe weather is handled under our refund and cancellation policy, and we work with you on the new date first.
Pickup and staging spots that work in Olean
A 45 foot coach needs about 60 feet of straight curb or an open lot, plus room to swing back out. These are the kinds of places we use most in and around Olean. Always get permission from the property owner, and give us a backup spot in case a lot is full on the day.
Usually easy for a full size coachWorks, with a caution
School and church lots
The best option for most local groups. Large, familiar to parents, and empty on weekends. Ask the building office to keep a lane clear of parked cars.
Hotels on Route 417
The cluster near St. Bonaventure and Jack Murphy Boulevard is built for tour traffic. Ideal for weddings and visiting teams staying overnight.
West State Street retail lots
Plenty of room for park and ride meetups. The Olean Center Mall front lot has served as a public gathering spot before. Confirm with management first.
St. Bonaventure campus
Workable and common, but staging must be arranged with the university. Game days and move in weekends change what is available.
Downtown Union Street
Fine for a quick drop, poor for a long load. Use a side street or municipal lot for groups with luggage.
Private homes and rural venues
Many hill roads and driveways cannot take a coach. Send us the address early so we can check access or suggest a mini bus.

What a charter bus costs from Olean, and why
Two trips of the same length can price very differently. Date, vehicle, hours and how far the bus has to travel to reach you all count. The ranges below are planning figures for the Southern Tier, not quotes. Your written quote is the price you pay, with nothing added later for fuel or the driver's time on the clock you booked.
Sprinter van
$110 to $170 / hr
Often a 3 to 4 hour minimum.
Mini bus
$130 to $200 / hr
Often a 4 hour minimum.
Full size coach
$160 to $260 / hr
Often a 5 hour minimum; long trips priced by day.
School bus
$90 to $150 / hr
Best value for short local runs.
Positioning miles
Olean is a smaller market, so on busy dates the nearest free vehicle may start in Buffalo, Erie or Jamestown. Travel to reach you can show up in the price. Booking early gives us more nearby choices.
Overnight costs
Multi day trips add the driver's hotel room and sometimes a meal allowance. Read who pays for driver hotels for the details.
Tolls and parking
Routes using the Thruway, city garages or event lots may carry fees. We list them in the quote. See do charter buses pay tolls.
A worked example: a Bills game from Olean
Fifty fans want a coach to Highmark Stadium for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The bus leaves Olean at 9:30 a.m., reaches the stadium around 10:50, waits through the game and heads home about 5 p.m., back in Olean near 6:30. That is roughly nine hours of service.
If the all in price for that day lands between $1,800 and $2,400, each fan pays about $36 to $48, less than most people spend on gas and stadium parking driving alone. Your real quote depends on the date and availability. For more, see how charter bus pricing works and how to split the cost fairly.
Charter bus or a caravan of cars from Olean?
For a trip across town, cars win. For anything that crosses the hills to Buffalo, Erie or Pittsburgh, the math and the stress usually tip the other way. Here is the honest comparison for a group of 40 on a typical day trip.
| What matters | One charter coach | Ten cars or rental vans |
|---|---|---|
| Drivers needed | One professional driver, rested and licensed for the job. | Ten volunteers, some of whom will drive home tired after a long day. |
| Winter roads | A heavy coach with a driver who handles Route 16 and Route 219 in snow for a living. | Ten sets of tires, ten skill levels, and ten chances for someone to slide off the road. |
| Parking | One bus lot fee at a stadium or venue, often less. | Ten parking fees, and a group scattered across a lot. |
| Arriving together | Everyone walks in at once, and the head count happens on the bus. | Cars arrive over an hour, and someone always gets lost. |
| Cost clarity | One quote, split per person. | Gas, tolls, wear and parking spread over ten people's receipts. |
Vans look cheap on paper, but a 12 or 15 passenger van rental needs a careful driver, extra insurance and a stop for fuel, and many schools and churches no longer allow volunteers to drive them at all. Our charter bus vs rental vans guide explains why.
If the group is small, a Sprinter van with a professional driver often splits the difference: lower cost than a coach, none of the volunteer driver risk. Compare the numbers in charter bus vs renting multiple cars and charter bus vs carpooling.
Three sample trip days from Olean
These are real shapes of trips we plan, with times that respect driver hours and the roads. Use them as a starting point and change anything; every quote is built from your own schedule.
Enchanted Mountains fall day for a senior club (mini bus, 28 riders)
A relaxed loop with short legs, restrooms at every stop and no long stretches on the highway. It suits October, when the hills are at their best.
Pickup at a church lot in Olean. Coffee and a head count.
Rock City Park for a gentle walk among the rock formations, with benches for anyone who prefers to sit out the stairs.
Drive west through the valley to Allegany State Park's Red House area for lunch by the lake.

Ellicottville for shops and an early dinner in the village.
Back in Olean. About eight and a half hours of service.
Bills game day for a fan club (full size coach, 52 riders)
The goal is simple: arrive early enough to tailgate, leave late enough to avoid the worst of the lot, and get everyone home safely.
Load at a West State Street park and ride lot. Coolers go under the bus, not in the aisle.
Arrive at the stadium bus lot via Route 219. Driver shares the exact return spot and a phone number.
Kickoff. The driver rests during the game, which keeps the day within legal hours.
Board within 45 minutes of the final whistle. Head count before the doors close.
Back in Olean. For crowd tips see our stadium group guide.
Corning Museum of Glass trip for a middle school (full size coach, 50 riders)
An easy run east on I-86 that fits inside the school day, with a restroom on board for the ride each way.
Load at the school's bus loop after attendance.
Arrive at the Corning Museum of Glass for a booked glassblowing demonstration and gallery time.
Lunch in the museum area, then a short walk on Market Street if time allows.
Depart for Olean with a head count by chaperone group.
Back at school before dismissal. Our museum trip guide has the checklist.
How booking an Olean charter works

About a week out we lock stop times, the pickup spot and the organizer's contact. Changes are fine; see changing a reservation.
Ride
Driver details arrive before the trip. Your job is the head count; ours is everything on the road.
Safety checks you can verify yourself
Long drives on rural expressways reward careful operators. Every Olean trip runs with licensed, insured motor carriers and professional drivers who hold a commercial license with a passenger endorsement. You do not have to take our word for any of it.
Interstate passenger carriers are registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and their safety records are public on the FMCSA SAFER system. Ask us for the carrier's USDOT number and look it up.
Driver hours are law, not preference. A bus driver may drive up to 10 hours after 8 hours off duty and may not drive after 15 hours on duty. That is why a same day Olean to New York City round trip needs two drivers or an overnight.
Read more on our safety commitment page.
Before you sign, check that:
- The carrier has an active USDOT number and operating authority. Our guide on verifying a license and insurance walks through it.
- Insurance meets federal minimums for passenger carriers, with a certificate available on request.
- Drivers pass background checks and drug and alcohol testing, as covered in driver background checks.
- The schedule leaves legal rest for the driver on long days.
- You know the red flags, from cash only deals to missing paperwork. See red flags when booking and how the FMCSA regulates safety.

Olean charter bus FAQ
Straight answers to the questions Olean organizers ask us most. Anything missing is probably on our main FAQ page, or you can contact a planner directly.
How much does a charter bus rental in Olean, NY cost?
As a planning figure, full size coaches in the Southern Tier often run about $160 to $260 per hour with a minimum of around five hours, mini buses about $130 to $200 per hour and Sprinter vans about $110 to $170 per hour. The date, total hours, overnight needs and how far the vehicle must travel to reach Olean all move the price. Your written quote is final and includes the driver and fuel.
How far ahead should I book a bus in Olean?
Four to six weeks is enough for most winter trips. For spring school season, fall football Saturdays and summer wedding weekends, book eight to twelve weeks ahead because regional vehicles fill quickly. Last minute requests are still worth sending; we will tell you honestly what is available.
Can you pick up at St. Bonaventure University?
Yes. St. Bonaventure sits on Route 417 between Olean and Allegany, and we pick up there often. Staging needs to be arranged with the university, especially on game days, move in weekends and commencement, so share your contact at the school when you book.
How long is the drive from Olean to the Buffalo airport?
Buffalo Niagara International is about 80 miles from Olean, usually around an hour and forty minutes by coach in normal conditions. In winter we build in extra time because snow is common on the hills north of Olean.
Do you run trips from Olean to Buffalo Bills and Sabres games?
Yes. Highmark Stadium is about 65 miles from Olean, roughly an hour and twenty minutes each way. Game day charters usually run eight to ten hours in total, and the driver waits nearby during the game. Sabres trips to downtown Buffalo follow a similar plan with a shorter wait.
What vehicle is best for a Holiday Valley ski trip?
For 30 or more skiers, a full size coach is best because the under floor bays hold skis, boards and boot bags. Smaller clubs do well in a mini bus if gear is limited. Ellicottville is about 30 miles from Olean, so a ski day is an easy same day trip.
Can one bus pick up riders in Olean, Allegany and Portville?
Yes, multiple pickup stops are common. Each stop adds time, so we suggest no more than three or four, and we plan them in order along Route 417 or Route 16 so nobody rides back and forth.
Can a charter bus from Olean cross into Pennsylvania or Canada?
Pennsylvania trips to Bradford, Kinzua Bridge, Erie or Pittsburgh are routine. Canada trips to Toronto or Niagara-on-the-Lake are possible too; every rider needs a valid passport or other approved document, and the carrier handles the commercial side of the crossing.
What happens if it snows on the day of my trip?
We watch the forecast from 72 hours out and call you with options if a storm looks likely. The driver and dispatch always have the final safety say. A trip cancelled for unsafe weather is handled under our refund and cancellation policy, and we try to rebook your date first.
Do your buses have restrooms and Wi-Fi?
Most full size coaches have a restroom, and many carry Wi-Fi, power outlets and screens. Mini buses, Sprinter vans and school buses usually do not have restrooms. If an amenity matters to you, list it on the quote request and we will confirm it in writing.
Are wheelchair accessible buses available in Olean?
Yes, lift equipped coaches and accessible mini buses can be arranged. Ask when you request a quote, because accessible vehicles are fewer in number and need more lead time in a smaller market like Olean.
Can we bring food and drinks on board?
Snacks and non alcoholic drinks are usually fine on coaches, and many groups pack lunches for long trips. Alcohol rules depend on the vehicle, the group's ages and the carrier's policy, so ask before you pack a cooler.
Does the driver stay with us all day?
On a round trip day charter, yes. The driver stays with the vehicle, usually waiting near your destination, and is ready at the agreed return time. On multi day trips the driver rests at a hotel near your group.
Should we tip the driver?
Tipping is not required but is common and appreciated. Many groups tip around 10 to 20 percent of the charter cost or a flat amount per day, collected by the organizer and handed over at the end of the trip.
